Youth Activities Attendant Location Houston, TX (River Oaks area) : River Oaks Country Club is looking for individuals that can help create an environment full of meaningful, purpose-driven, and fulfilling experiences in an innovative and engaging format that supports positive personal development for every youth at ROCC. This position is part-time. Ideally you are able to work flexible hours including weekends, early mornings, evenings and holidays. You must be 18 or older to apply.
Part-time - $13.00 -14.00 - Exceptional Benefits - We work with school schedules!! Duties and Responsibilities - Assist and supervise youth programs, events, and activities
- Prepare for all scheduled events prior to the start time
- Ensure the safety and good conduct of children
- Report attendance for events and programs to the Recreation Manager
- Keep all children engaged
- Return all equipment and report any damages or necessary repairs
Qualifications - Able to push, pull or lift up to 20 pounds
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Preferably currently attending college/university
- Able to speak, write, and read proficient English.
- Experience working groups of kids. (Camp Counselors, After School Programs, Sports Camps, Daycares)
- Child Sensitivity Certification or the ability to obtain it within first 3 months of hire.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or the ability to obtain it within the first 3 months of hire.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliable and timely - able to arrive to work on time and remain at the Club for the duration of the shift
- Able to spend long periods on your feet; work outside for the majority of the shift; attend to children at the pool area, this is typically wet and slippery; sustain continued exposure to humidity, sunlight and heat exceeding 100 degrees; push, pull or lift up to 30 pounds
