Wright Technical Services is proud to represent a highly respected and technology-focused Insurance company for this role. We are seeking a Senior Intune Architect for a ~6-month contract to lead enterprise-scale end-user computing (EUC) architecture and design initiatives. This role will focus on Intune architecture, Windows 365 Cloud PC strategy, endpoint modernization, and global device management standards to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient end-user experiences. The ideal candidate brings deep enterprise-level experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows 365, Autopilot, and Entra ID, combined with the ability to set technical direction, influence stakeholders, and implement best practices with minimal onboarding.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive IT experience with a minimum of 5+ years focus on enterprise endpoint architecture and Intune administration.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Intune solutions at scale across global organizations.
• Expertise in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Windows 365 Cloud PCs, Entra ID, and Conditional Access.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills for enterprise endpoint management.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust principles, security baselines, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) with Intune and endpoint integration strategies.
• Familiarity with co-management scenarios (ConfigMgr/SCCM and Intune) and hybrid environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field; advanced degree or certifications (Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, Enterprise Administrator Expert, or similar) strongly preferred.

Description and Responsibilities

• Serve as the Intune subject matter expert and architect, driving enterprise-wide endpoint management strategy and adoption.
• Design and implement scalable Intune architecture, configuration baselines, and compliance frameworks across the organization.
• Architect, configure, and optimize Windows 365 Cloud PC solutions for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Lead the standardization and modernization of device provisioning using Autopilot, Zero Touch deployment, and automation.
• Develop and enforce endpoint security policies, conditional access strategies, and compliance requirements aligned with Zero Trust.
• Partner with Security, Networking, and Infrastructure teams to integrate endpoint architecture with overall enterprise IT strategy.
• Lead application packaging, deployment frameworks, and distribution strategies across global endpoints.
• Automate operational tasks, reporting, and monitoring using PowerShell, Graph API, and automation pipelines.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for high-priority endpoint escalations.
• Conduct architecture reviews, create design documentation, runbooks, and governance frameworks.
• Support M&A activities by designing integration strategies for Intune and endpoint environments.
• Provide mentorship, training, and knowledge transfer to internal IT and engineering teams.
• Continuously evaluate emerging Microsoft cloud technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
