Job Description

Do you love everything about immigration court except working directly with clients and going to court? Do you love legal research and writing, and finding creative arguments? Have you handled at least twenty I-589 IHs, ten BHs, and five 42B IHs (Approximate or equivalent experience will be considered) If so, we're looking for you! Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee the preparation of evidence packets for all types of cases in immigration court (primarily 589s, bonds, and 42Bs).
• Write briefs for removal cases.
• Strategize with other attorneys at the firm (and elsewhere) in a spirit of comradery and generosity, eager to teach and learn from each other.
• Continually improve your legal knowledge and stay abreast of relevant law and policy changes.
• Be as creative and zealous as ethically possible.

Qualifications:

• You're exceptionally talented at legal research and persuasive writing.
• You like to think of yourself as a magician and artist behind the keyboard.
• You're morally opposed to our government's behavior toward immigrants.
