**Description:**
Reporting to the Supervisor Environmental Services*, Environmental Services, this position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, aiding in the prevention of cross contamination, controlling bacteria and odor, and sustaining an acceptable aseptic condition.
**Requirements:**
**1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.**
**2. Ability to communicate and follow written instructions in a fast-paced, team environment is required.**
**3. Ability to perform basic cleaning functions including the operation of a wet/dry vacuum and shampooer is required.**
**4. Knowledge of handling procedures for infectious and hazardous waste is required.**
**5. Experience in housekeeping in an acute care setting is preferred.**
**Pay Range: $21.00- $28.04**
